Alright people! For my communications class we are doing a service project, collecting clothing for the homeless. I'm really excited about this project and the impact it will have on our community. Homelessness is a serious problem and it makes me sad. So we have rallied together as a group and come up with a master plan! This Thursday we will be collecting clothing for the Homeless shelter in SLC. Then on Saturday we will be taking the clothes up and delivering them in person. (I'm a little nervous about that part) But nonetheless. It makes me feel good knowing that I'm helping other people. Today Sarah G. and I went and handed out fliers at some nearby Apartment complexes. We felt like it would have the greatest impact with the shortest traveling distance. But, I've never hated stairs so much in my life! after passing out nearly 300 fliers (one flight of stairs per apartment) we were beat. We've put a lot of effort into this project and we would sincerely appreciate any donations you can make! If you cant make a donation then please say a little prayer for my knees... (We will be climbing all those stairs again on Thursday to collect clothing).
